“ I just love this restaurant. This little hole in the wall serves up really good authentic texmex enchiladas. Notice I said Texmex. Delish carne guisada chunks mixed in the sauce and real cheddar not American cheese. But their Pollo Milanesa is also very tasty. Winner, winner, chicken dinner. You cant go wrong because you can catch both on their weekly lunch specials for 8.99 with your tea. I would eat there daily, but Im calorically challenged, so keep my visits to a couple of times a month. ”

“ Im new to this side of town, spent all morning moving. On a whim ordered 2x carne guisada with cheese and 3x bean and cheese tacos. All on flour tortillas The food arrived hot and the carne guisada was soft flavorful and delicious. The tortillas fluffy and a nice size. The beans were home made and delicious. Im picky with my tacos,this would be some of the best tacos Ive had in san antonio in yrs. Ill have to dine in next time. The kitchen and staff made my order to perfection and honored my requests in my uber eats notes. For salsa Salt and utensils. Blown away ”

What I also love is that they have a bakery with fresh sweet bread reminds of where I grew up. Overall everything is great their customer service is awesome and fast. Its a hidden gem due to it being next to a convenient store. Tortillas are made from scratch because I can feel the flour residue on them. Support local so Texas money stays in Texas! ”

“ I will definitely go back for more! Two tacos for less than 4 Wow! I usually buy a bacon egg taco a bean cheese taco for breakfast. These were delicious the bean cheese taco was a big fat taco. Im glad to finally see that, because its probably one of the cheapest taco to make, but not all places make it this way. The flour tortillas are big n fluffy too! Gotta try more food here! Beautiful pan dulce in the case also. Lots of items to taste. ”
